The Singapore Kindness Week (11 to 18 April 2004) has come and gone. I hope you have done some good deeds to make the week a memorable one. If not, you can still do so. After all, every week should be kindness week As for me…

…I have started this website to remember 2004 Singapore Kindness Week by. I have also donated ‘generously’ during the two NKF Charity Shows.

NKF deserves our support because of its numerous programmes to ease the pain and suffering of those who are chronically ill and their families. Don’t be distracted by the recent controversy surrounding NKF reserves and other red herrings. It will eventually fade away. When it does, I am confident that the organization will come out better and stronger. I must admit that I have learnt a lot from the media coverage on the matter. It has strengthened my belief in the institution which all Singaporeans should be proud of.

Another charity organization, I know, which has done a great job to help the less fortunate is the Asian Women’s Welfare Association. I am privileged to be one of its clients. For all that the association has done for me, I owe it a debt of gratitude. If there is anything I can do for the organization, I certainly will. May I take this opportunity to encourage you to support it in any way you can.

Let me share with you one of my favorite quotes: “The greatness of a man is measured not by the size of his wealth but the size of his heart.”

God bless all of you!
